The future of work is marked by greater uncertainty, volatility and metamorphosis. A number of different job categories are already being disrupted through a combination of forces driven by technological progress, such as digitalisation, financialisation, global value chains, and new management practices. However, some job categories will be more resilient to these forces than others. What are the dimensions that will make certain job categories more resilient than others? How will existing occupations evolve over the next decade? What type of actions need should be taken at the government and business level? These are some of the questions addressed in this Whiteshield Partners Perspectives on « What Makes Work Resilient » which was presented in Davos on 23 January 2018.
