Hayk is a research analyst at the Central Bank of Armenia for the past 9 years. He was also an Adjunct Lecturer at the American University of Armenia. He has been awarded the IMF best paper award, Armenian Economic Association. He has received a grant from the Economics Education and Research Consortium under the program Economics Research Grant Competition
