Senior Economist with more than 10 years of experience in policy consulting and modeling, spanning from labor market policy, labor-market nationalization policies, and education policies to petrochemical and supply chain modeling.

At the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Davoud led a detailed labor market modeling project to nationalize a labor market. The model was delivered as a web-based policy simulator and used by the Ministry of Labor to create and test new policies. Davoud was invited as an expert in e-governance and model-based policy making by the Joint Research Center of the European Commission in 2016.

Davoud led the creation of the largest agent-based model of the petrochemical sector modeling all plants on the globe. He published a series of papers on business cycles, network effects of central bank policy and the use of computational methods in economics.
